007 Bond Review

007 Casino Royale

Why Casino Royale is a good modernization of Bond?

Does Casino Royale is a good modernization of Bond? Do the new Bond is getting the message of modernization and the tendency that the young audience is requesting?
007 Casino Royale (2006) has left behind the unrealistic scenes, and logic has appeared as a conforming weapon creating a new impact in the audience and in the stereotypes. On this movie we can see how sexism and equality can be enjoyed as great casino game.
Bond Movies have been changing according to the time and the tendency of the audience; the characteristic that the audience request is making that Bond series change, making them overflow the comfort area.
Daniel Craig has change Bond world by being less sex-obsessed, by getting more body language and bringing to the table realistic and human actions. We can say that Daniel Craig is making a super Bond, the Bond that young audience wants to see.
Bond in the Past
XXI has given a nice touch to Bond Series, James Bond has change allot (that is something that we can see clearly), basing on the last movies we can see that first objective are women’s, they appeared on every single movie, they have been used as a sexual object and their names have been used as double meaning, they are so vulnerable to Bond charming; also women`s image has been based on the vulnerable and seductive stereotype were woman would not be able to control any dangerous circumstances. Also Bond image has been based in stereotypes, the basic spy that all the matches with the villains have ending in victory moments, he never shows empathy or realistic emotions that can became him more human. He is never being worried about the situations.  In Casino Royale we can see a big difference and a big modernization, such in way of thinking and technology. During the movie we can see how equality appear as an important model in the movie; Bond and the rest of the characters (including woman) has an important role, in the way that they can be dangerous but seductive, how they

are taking the same roles as Bond. Both-woman and men- has been able to decide them own decision. When Bond found Vesper in the bathroom and instead of ask her questions, or talk to her on an aggressive way, he goes and seat next to her, this shows how Bond is more sensitive. Also in action scenes Daniel Craig has given a more realistic body language to Bond´s character.
Returning to the technology, in the movie their show us how Bond is reacting in a good way to modernization, how his way of thinking is adapting to the XXI century. Such he is using a new and fresh image of spay, technology is used as an important part, taking him from danger and poisonous situations.
Does Bond has adapted to modern century?
Well let’s say that Bond series has change depending on the century and also by the tendency of the audience, but do they know what modernization means?

We can see that Daniel Craig and the director had been familiar with Modern thinking. Know they have change to a new and anti-sexist bond, making more interesting the movies… giving a good taste of action where worried can been seed, where there’s no unrealistic fillings.
In the cover we can noticed that Bond has change, we not only see a woman we also see Bond stand up near her, he can see how both are stand up reflecting danger, worry and vulnerability to any situation. In personal I prefer the new and anti-sexist Bond that can makes the movie more realistic and credible
